Craig, I would put a few tags relevant to the post. That's it. Too many is not good and too few is not ideal either. Think of tags as a few relevant keyword or keyword phrases that people might type in to find your post, of course, when they type in these keywords and your post comes up, you would want the post to provide them with the correct information they are looking for. Don't overdue it, just post quality content with relevant tags and you will do fine. - Russ

Sorry Geri,

As far as I know, Blogger does not allow you to use additional plugins. They control what you put on the site, means it is really a sub domain on their site.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing a blog with your thoughts about blogging and marketing. You offer a lot of helpful insights. I was wondering a little bit more about tagging. If I write an article about a Nintendo DS commercial for their new game "Professor Layton and the Last Spector," I was wondering how in depth you think tags should go.

Should it read like:

Nintendo, Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Commercial, Nintendo DS Advertisement, Advertisement, Commercial, Professor Layton, Professor Layton and the Last Spector,

Or more simply:

Nintendo DS, Commercial, Advertisement, Professor Layton and the Last Spector

For instance, do I need to include these above words in a bunch of different combinations in order to reach a post's highest search-ability on google or does this back fire?

Thanks for any insights you can give!

Best,
Craig

I'm glad it helped JS. Sometimes it's hard to find simple, straight forward instructions. Glad you liked it. Best of luck.

You are my hero!!! I have been trying to set up my online store for months and your videos taught me more than all those months. I am new to WordPress and got my blog and website going, but I couldn't figure out which cart to use and I kept changing my mind because I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Your second video on tables sparked the light bulb above my head! Hopefully I can get everything up soon so I can focus on my real passion...designing!!!! Thanks so much!!
